Tony Moore has 8 years of professional baseball experience mostly with the New York Mets. He was selected by the Mets in the June draft of 1988. Signing with the Mets, Tony played four seasons in their farm system with stops in the Gulf Coast League (Sarasota Mets), Appalachian League (Kingsport Mets), and New York-Penn League (Pittsfield Mets) where he played along side Jeremy Burnitz, Todd Hundley, and former Astros pitcher, Anthony Young.
Released by the Mets in March of 1992, Tony returned to Texas where he then signed to play for the San Antonio Tejanos of the Texas-Louisiana League, managed by former Houston Astro, Jose Cruz. After a season with the Tejanos, Tony played for the Rio Grande Valley White Wings then managed by former Houston Astro Alan Ashby. Tony led his team in outfield assists and was routinely among the league assist leaders.
As a certified personal trainer, Tony can custom design a workout tailored to the specific needs of the baseball/softball athlete. Although he can work with athletes throughout the Houston area, Tony has predominantly trained in the Memorial, Richmond/Rosenberg, Katy, Fort Bend area including First Colony, Sugar Land, Missouri City, and Sienna Plantation since 2005.
